Our objective as a professional guild is to raise the educational level of Bartenders in New Zealand, and this we are achieving through the courses we offer in partnership with the International Bartenders Association and the Education Develpoment Committee.
Learning can be done in many ways as we know, but it has to be in a professional enviroment, that is realistic and up to date.
These comprehensive bartending courses are designed for the beginner, the seasoned professional or the advanced professional and offer an international qualification. These courses are structured to be a mixture of practical and theory lectures, they also include home paced study and practical experience. There are professional in depth practical sessions for the Certificate and Diploma levels and a choice of locations both within New Zealand and many of the I.B.A. member countries offering the courses.
For a list of these countries and accredited providers go to I.B.A. members
The location of the Master Bartender Course is currently proposed to be run at the I.B.A. International Training Centre, Singapore.
Don’t ever forget we can learn many things from the past and this knowledge helps guide us, but new inovations are occurring all the time, so we need to be aware of these.
Also there is an increasing awareness of drinking responsibily in our work environment and that is also part of our profession to guide our customers and patrons.
So in response to many inquiries, we have developed the following course levels, and we trust you find them interesting and rewarding.
Happy Learning
